These totems are 2m tall and the colour palette takes inspiration from materials that have a historic connection to the sites (bronze and cast iron). The colours were developed by looking at different shades of patina and verdigris on bronze. The text is set in Replica, its shapes and corners are evocative of chiseling into metal.
Each piece is designed to sit naturally within its surroundings and encourage visitors to be more connected to the river. Chelsea Quay’s opening was marked by a visit from The Princess Royal!
